August, 19th – 24th, 2019 OKINAWA
In Summer of 2019, a 6-day Ryuei-ryu World Premier Karate Seminar will be held in Okinawa, the birth place of Karate.
You will have an opportunity to learn Karate and Kobudo methods from the former world Karate champion, Sakumoto sensei, and his pupils including former or current winners of WKF (World Karate Federations).
The seminar is planned to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the Ryuei-ryu originator, Norisato Nakaima (1819-1879, from Kumamura Naha). He studied in China under Grand Master Ryuru-Ko for 6 years, returned to Okinawa with “Ryu no Waza“, and developed the current Ryuei-ryu style.
Kata: Pachu, Heiku, Paiku, Anan, Anan-Dai, Ohan, etc.
Kobudo: Kubo no Kon, Sai1, etc.
